NOTICE: Marimbafest 2020 and COVID-19 situation (as of 18 March 2020)
PLEASE READ BEFORE REGISTERING OR BOOKING ACCOMMODATION / FLIGHTS
Due to the current COVID-19 situation around the world, strict travel restrictions and lockdown procedures are currently in place across Australia.
Marimbafest 2020 is still scheduled to go ahead in July 2020, but a final decision regarding Marimbafest 2020 going ahead will be made on 1st May 2020.
In the event that Marimbafest 2020 is cancelled, all ticket holders will be refunded in full.
If Marimbafest 2020 is deemed safe to go ahead, all deadlines will be extended to accommodate re-organisation of plans.

TICKET TERMS AND CONDITIONS
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE REGISTERING. BY REGISTERING, YOU AGREE TO THE FOLLOWING
All persons registering for any of the above Tickets are subject to the Ticket Terms and Conditions.
Anyone participating in the Competition is also subject to the Competition General Rules.
'Ticket' = Festival Pass, Competition Only Pass, Single Entry Pass
'Holder' = Anyone who holds a Ticket
'Participant' = Festival Pass Holder
'Competitor' = Competition Pass Holder OR Festival Pass Holder when participating in Competition
'Actively participate' = Fully participating in a class as a Participant
'Passively participate' = Observing a class i.e. cannot perform or have any one-to-one interaction other than general Q&A
Changes To Rules In The Event Of COVID-19 Cancellation
Any ticket below listed as 'non-refundable' will be fully refunded in the event of a cancellation due to COVID-19 safety restrictions.
A decision will be made about this by 1st May 2020.
General Ticket Rules
All tickets, once issued, are non-refundable and non-transferrable.
It is the Holder's responsibility to attend the Festival and/or Competition. Failure to do so will not result in a refund being issued.
Tickets cannot be exchanged for cash or for another kind of Ticket.
Only one Ticket per person, except for Single Entry Passes.
Tickets do not include accommodation expenses. Accommodation must be booked and organised separately.
Festival Pass Rules
Festival Pass is non-refundable and non-transferrable, and requires registration using the form below.
It is for one person only.
Festival Pass allows its Holder to become a Participant.
You can only hold one (1) Festival Pass. No other Tickets can be held by a Participant.
A Participant may participate in all Marimbafest events without limitation.
Competition Pass Rules
Competition Pass is non-refundable and non-transferrable, and requires registration using the form below.
It is for one person only.
You can only hold one (1) Competition Pass.
Competition Pass allows its Holder to become a Competitor. The Competitor cannot also hold a Festival Pass.
A Competitor may participate in the Marimba Competition and the events that are related to the Competition, but cannot participate in any other events without a Single Entry Pass(es).
The Competition Pass Holder is able to attend the Opening Reception.
Single Entry Pass Rules
Single Entry Pass can only be purchased at the door. It is non-refundable and for one person only.
You may hold as many Single Entry Passes as you require.
A Single Entry Pass allows its Holder to passively participate in one (1) masterclass or rehearsal of their choice as an observer.
Once used for entry, the Single Entry Pass immediately becomes void.
If the Holder has used their Single Entry Pass and wishes to attend another class, they must purchase another Single Entry Pass.
Single Entry Pass cannot be used to enter the Competition or to actively participate in class.
The Single Entry Pass cannot be used to attend the Opening Reception.
Ticket Holder's Good Standing
Marimbafest Australia reserves the right to void or cancel any Holder's Ticket if they are deemed to be engaging in
disrespectful, disruptive, unlawful, abusive, threatening or any other offensive behaviour during or before the Festival.
Any individuals seen to be engaging in disrespectful, disruptive, unlawful, abusive, threatening or any other offensive behaviour towards any party
will be subject to immediate removal from the Festival.
Cancellation and No-Show
NEW COVID-19 UPDATE: All Marimbafest 2020 ticket holders will be issued full refunds if the event is cancelled due to COVID-19 safety measures.
A final decision will be made about this by 1st May 2020.
If a Ticket Holder does not show up to all events, they are not entitled to any refund or discount.
Marimbafest Australia reserves the right to amend any of the above terms and conditions.
