ABOUT
A NEW YEAR. A NEW MARIMBAFEST.
Marimbafest 2022 returns for its third year of festival activities.
We're back with a new hybrid competition, welcoming in-person and online participants from Australia and around the world.
WHEN AND WHERE IS IT?
Marimbafest 2022 happens from the morning of Sunday 3rd July 2022 to the evening of Friday 8th July 2022.

All participant masterclasses are exclusive to participants only.

Just like our event last year, Marimbafest 2022 is a hybrid event - meaning there will be in-person participation and online participation options available, and we will be reopening to overseas participants for the first time in three years!
In line with WA Health requirements, all in-person participants, faculty and staff must be provide proof of full vaccination at the time of participation and wear a face mask at all times, unless medical exemptions apply.

Marimbafest for me was an awesome experience! I didn’t know what to expect coming from overseas into a new competition and festival, but I felt that it was very organized and very welcoming. I loved getting to know everyone and learning from the teachers and other participants.
I don’t think I could’ve asked for a better time. I can’t wait to visit to Perth again, whether it’s for Marimbafest or just to eat Tim Tams. I’m glad I chose to come to this unforgettable experience.
